Albion players head off on international duty

Ten players will represent their country during the international break.

Emma Kullberg and Julia Zigiotti are just two of ten Albion players heading off to represent their countries this international break.

Our Norwegian trio have once again been selected for Norway's next run of UEFA Women's Nations League matches.ย 

Norway - Guro Bergsvand, Elisabeth Terland and Maria Thorisdottir

The squad will continue their Group A campaign against Croatia in a double header.ย 

  • Friday 23rd: Croatia (Opus Arena, Osijek)
  • Tuesday 27th: Croatia (Viking Stadion, Stavanger)

England under-23 - Poppy Pattinson and Katie Robinson

Poppy Pattinson and Katie Robinson will be travelling with the young Lionesses to Marbella as they join the senior squad for some warm weather training.ย 

Emma Coatesโ€™ squad will take on Spain on Thursdaybefore facing the Netherlands in a European League fixture on Monday 26 February. Maisie Symonds has withdrawn from the squad due to injury.

  • Thursday 22nd: Spain (Marbella)
  • Monday 26th: Netherlands (Marbella)

Colombia - Jorelyn Carabali

Jorelyn has been selected to represent Colombia in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Colombia will compete in Group B with three games at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.

  • Wednesday 21st: Panama (Snapdragon Stadium)
  • Saturday 24th: Brazil (Snapdragon Stadium)
  • Wednesday 28th: Puerto Rico (Snapdragon Stadium)

Greece - Veatriki Sarri

Vea will head off on international duty to represent Greece in a couple of friendlies against Romania and Turkey.ย 

  • Thursday 22nd: Romania (Manavgat Atatรผrk Stadฤฑ, Ataturk)
  • Sunday 25th: Turkey (Emirhan Sport Center, Antalya)

Portugal - Tatiana Pinto

Tatiana has again been called up to represent Portugal in their upcoming run of friendlies this international break. Portugal will face Czech Republic before taking on Republic of Korea with both games in Estoril.

  • Wednesday 21st: Czechia (Antonio Coimbra da Mota)
  • Tuesday 27th: Republic of Korea (Antonio Coimbra da Mota)

Sweden - Emma Kullberg and Julia Zigiotti

Emma Kullberg has been selected for the Swedish national team alongside Albion team-mate Julia Zigiotti.ย 

The two will represent Sweden in their double header against Bosnia & Herzegovnia against in their UEFA Nations League campaign.ย 

  • Friday 23rd: Bosnia and Herzegovnia (Nogometni kamp Reprezentacije BiH, Zenica)
  • Wednesday 28th: Bosnia and Herzegovnia (Tele2 Arena, Johanneshov)
