Audio description
Is there a radio-based assistive hearing system?
The seating area within the stadium is fully covered by a radio-based assistive hearing system. The system is designed for supporters who have Telecoil hearing aids, with the ‘T’ setting. The system allows supporters of varying hearing impairments to listen to both safety and matchday entertainment announcements. Supporters wishing to use this service must visit ticket office window 1 on a matchday to sign out the neck loop and receiver.
Is there audio descriptive commentary available?
Yes, and it is available to supporters via the use of a receiver and headset. Equipment can be signed out from ticket office window 1. Equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was when signed out.
“Steve Baker [audio description commentator] provided an excellent commentary, taking on the whole of the game, without any assistance or support, and doing so in a clear, comprehensive and unbroken fashion.”
Lord David Blunkett 16th June 2016, Albion v Sheffield Wednesday

Hidden Disability Wristband
The wristband is to help catering, stewarding, and ticketing staff to better assist supporters and avoid otherwise awkward situations for supporters and our staff.
  • If needed, the information collected on the application forms may be used to assist staff with how situations are managed and what support is needed and reasonable.
  • This information will only be accessible to stand managers, control room staff and the ticket office.
  • Use of the disability lane at Falmer Station
  • The wristband will not entitle any supporter to queue jump or gain preferential treatment over any other supporter - however this is at steward discretion, so please seek their help if need!
Please get in touch with support.services@brightonandhovealbion.com to request a hidden disability wristband.

Inclusion Room
The inclusion room is a safe and reassuring space where supporters who may struggle to sit within the main stands can enjoy football. You can find out more by watching the video above and you can register your interest by filling in the form here.

Accessible Tickets
Disabled supporters will be charged the ticket price equivalent to the pricing structure for the area of the ground they wish to purchase a ticket within.
Disabled supporters can book a ticket for themselves and a personal assistant ticket to both home and away matches here.
If you have not booked a ticket before, or need information on how to, please check out our Disabled Supporters’ Booking Guide.
In order for disabled supporters to purchase a personal assistant ticket online, they must have provided supporting documents to the club in advance of purchase.
If you require a personal assistant to support you when inside the stadium, please email supporter services for further information.
To help us with this request, when emailing, please attach either of the following:
DLA – Middle to High Rate
PIP – Enhanced Rate
If you require a personal assistant ticket and to gain a clearer understanding of your access requirements, and to ensure we have informed you of all our services, could you please provide some information as to how the Personal Assistant would support you when inside the stadium? This will also be used to help us plan effectively how best to assist you and make the Amex Stadium a more inclusive and accessible environment.
Where is the Brighton & Hove Albion ticket office?
The ticket office, twinned with the club shop, is located on the north side of the stadium and has level access. Doors to the club shop are large and accessible and staff are always on hand to assist visitors.
Where can I collect tickets?
We are now a digital stadium and therefore tickets will be sent to you via email for you to download.
If you do not have a smartphone, there will be a £2.50 charge pre-match for a print at home ticket or £5 on a matchday.
  • All ticket office windows at the stadium are fitted with Securicom speech transfer systems with integral induction loops. To prevent interference, the induction loops are utilised in windows 1, 5 and 10, as indicated by induction loop system stickers on the relevant windows.
  • Audio description commentary receivers and assistive hearing receivers can be signed out at window 1 on matchdays.
  • On matchdays a managed queuing system is in place at the ticket office windows. There is a separate queue for window 1, the accessible ticket window.
