Accessibility for this website

This website (“Site”) is operated by Brighton and Hove Albion FC. See more details about us.

We are committed to assisting users with access to the Site. Our accessibility standards have worked towards AA compliance within W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standards, and this has been achieved in many areas of the Site.

Supported browsers

Our desktop Site was developed to support AA compliance where possible on the following browsers:

  • Microsoft Edge 97.0 (and all later releases) for Windows
  • Google Chrome 97.0 (and all later releases) for Windows
  • Safari 15.0 (and all later releases) for MacOS

Our mobile version of the Site was developed to support AA compliance on the following browsers:

  • Safari 15.0 (and all later releases) for iOS devices
  • Chrome 97.0 (and all later releases) for Android devices

Hear Written Text Read Aloud

Our website is built to work with existing screen readers to enable you to hear the content of the site read aloud. If you already use a dedicated screen reader such as JAWS or NVDA please continue to do so. If you would like to activate your device’s in-built screen reader, please follow the instructions on the web pages below, depending on your device/operating system. Note links will open in a new window*.

Text size

The browsers we support feature in-built accessibility tools, including zoom and text-resizing. You can change the text size or adjust the page zoom in your desktop browser by following these instructions:

  • Windows browsers (eg Chrome, Edge):
    • Increase page zoom: Hold down the CTRL key and press +
    • Decrease page zoom: Hold down the CTRL key and press –
  • MacOS browsers (eg Safari):
    • Increase page zoom: Hold down the Command key and press +
    • Decrease page zoom: Hold down the Command key and press –
  • iOS (iPhone/iPad) Safari:
    • Change text size – tap the ‘aA’ symbol, then tap ‘A’ to increase the size or ‘a’ to decrease the size.
  • Android Chrome browser:
    • Change text size – tap the three dots in the top-right of the screen, then tap ‘Settings’. Tap ‘Accessibility’ then use the Text Scaling tool to increase/decrease the text size.

Alternatively use the Userway Accessibility Tool (details below).
