Roberto De Zerbi makes his point during the first half against Manchester City.

On Albion's overall performance...

In the first half City played great, when they play like this it is [not only] tough for Brighton, for any team in the world. But in the second half we played better, with more energy, personality, confidence and courage. The quality of our play was better and we had two or three other chances to score. But we have to start games like we did in the second half.

"In the first half we didn’t press in the right way. We lost our order on the pitch but we were playing against the best team in the world, so it’s possible that we would suffer. In the second half we had more order, especially when we didn't have the ball.

"Brighton can lose a game against City, especially in the Etihad. But we have the quality of player to play better and the second-half performance is the way for us."

On the injuries...

"This is the worst news today. I think we will lose Solly March for a long time and Danny Welbeck has a muscular problem.

"We are using too many players this season and it's tough. We play Ajax - a crucial game - on Thursday without Estupinan, Lamptey, March, Welbeck and Enciso. But I have big confidence in my players. We can lose the game but I want to see personalty and energy like we had in the second half."
