Roberto De Zerbi’s decision to play a Michael Jordan video before Sunday’s win over Arsenal was an inspired call, according to Julio Enciso.
The players were shown how the six-time NBA champion motivates himself for big occasions in his Netflix documentary ‘The Last Dance’.
“I love Michael Jordan so it was incredible,” said Enciso. “The coach motivates us a lot and I think we have that support between all of us in the squad and that is very important.
“The coach gives us all confidence and he helps me a lot because he has given me that opportunity and the fans give me that support you need. I’d like to thank them for the backing they are giving me.”

The 3-0 victory at the Emirates was the perfect response to the home defeat to Everton, with Julio heading in our opener against the Gunners.
“It was a hard week but we saw a reflection of the fact that the team doesn’t fall,” Julio added. “We keep persisting because this team deserves a lot. We showed that, we gave everything we had to give.”
It was Enciso’s third goal of the season and after his stunning winner against Chelsea.

"I was looking for another goal, after Chelsea I really wanted to get more. Thanks to God I got it and I was really pleased. I dedicated the goal to my family who support me a lot in the good and bad times. I’m really grateful.
“I don’t get many goals with my head, but I got one in Premier League 2 so it was my second here.”
