Alexis Mac Allister is our top scorer in the Premier League so far this season with ten goals.

Alexis Mac Allister believes that our fantastic 3-0 win at Arsenal on Sunday has put us in the driving seat to finish in the top six.

Albion now need two wins from their final four Premier League games to confirm sixth spot and Europa League football for next season.

Goals at the Emirates from Julio Enciso, Deniz Undav and Pervis Estupinan ensured there was no hangover from our 5-1 defeat to Everton, and the victory moved us above Aston Villa and Tottenham.

“We knew that it was an important game and we wanted this reaction from the team after the defeat against Everton, so we were very happy for the win,” Alexis said. “It was a difficult game, they pressed us very well, but the three goals were important.

“They changed their pressing style in the second half and that benefited us, it helped us a little bit more, but we tried playing the same game. We were more accurate in the second half and scored the goals.”

“We have a target to get in the Europa League and we knew this game was important to achieve this. It is a victory that puts you up there but there are still four important games. The fans transmitted passion too, which is what we want.”

Champions League football is still mathematically possible, although Albion will need a number of factors to go their way to reach the top four.

“It is more of a dream [Champions League] and we know there are really strong teams up there,” Alexis added.

“We are focusing on the Europa League, because we believe qualifying is very possible.”
