Striker Lee joins Albion on permanent basis

South Korea international spent last season on loan with Hope Powell's team.

The forward scored three goals in 18 WSL appearances last season.
Albion are delighted to announce that striker Geummin Lee, who spent last season on loan with the club, is joining on a permanent basis, subject to FA and WSL clearance.
 
Lee, 27, joined Albion on loan from Manchester City at the start of last season and won the Goal of the Season prize for her spectacular long-range effort against Reading in May.
 
Head coach Hope Powell said, “We’re delighted to welcome Lee to the club on a permanent basis.
 
“I felt she got better as the season wore on and finished it really strongly.
 
“I do think she can get even better and I’m looking forward to working with her this season.”
 
The South Korea international made 18 appearances for Albion last season, scoring three goals. She has been capped more than 40 times by her country.
