Albion have been drawn in Group B of the competition alongside fellow Barclays FA Women’s Super League sides Arsenal and Bristol City, and Women’s Championship teams Charlton Athletic, London Bees and London City Lionesses.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stages of the competition, where the sides will battle it out to reach the final on Saturday 29th February.
In last year’s competition, the Seagulls reached the quarter-final stage after finishing second in their group behind Chelsea, but were overcome by eventual winners Manchester City at the Academy Stadium.
The competition begins on the weekend of the 21st/22nd September and runs over another four separate dates before the group stages are completed on 11th/12th December.
