We are committed to reducing the energy we use uses to keep our buildings running. We have implemented a number of projects at the American Express Stadium and American Express Elite Performance Centre to reduce our energy consumption.

• Stadium and training ground built is to BREEAM's very good standard
• Over 400 solar PV panels installed at the training ground
• Purchased electricity is 100% renewable backed by REGO certificates
• Ongoing upgrade of lighting to LED
• Energy monitoring by Cube Controls (Building Management System Operators) and BCR Associates (Energy Consultants) to better understand our usage across the facilities
• Timeclocks and PIR sensors ensure lighting switches off when not in use
• Monitoring of energy consumption enables identification of energy reduction measures
• Building Management System allows heating, cooling and ventilation to be set based on the buildings use
• As a result of energy saving measures, electricity consumption at the stadium has reduced by over 1 million kWh per year when compared to 2018
