Updated: This season's key dates

All the information you need during the summer and ahead of the new season.

With both our men's and women's teams' domestic seasons at an end, here's all the key dates to keep an eye on over the summer months.

Friday 14 June – Premier League transfer window opens, UEFA EURO 2024 starts

Lewis Dunk has made five appearances for England.

Bart Verbruggen (The Netherlands), Pascal Gross and Deniz Undav (Germany), Billy Gilmour (Scotland), Jakub Moder (Poland) and Lewis Dunk (England) are in their country's respective squads for the tournament.

The day will also mark the opening of the Premier League and EFL transfer window.

Tuesday 18 June – Premier League fixtures revealed

We will receive confirmation of our fixture dates for the 2024/25 Premier League season at 9am. Questions such as ‘who will we play on the opening day?’ and ‘when do we play the promoted teams?’ can be answered then.

Thursday 20 June – Copa America starts

Jeremy Sarmiento has made 15 appearances for Ecuador.

Our South Americans will be hopeful of call-ups for this summer’s Copa America.

Valentin Barco (Argentina), Julio Enciso (Paraguay), Jeremy Sarmiento (Ecuador) and Tom McGill (Canada) are all hoping to be involved. 

Monday 24 June – WSL transfer window opens

Our women’s team can begin to recruit ahead of the new season, which starts towards the end of September.

Friday 12 July – Women’s internationals, EURO 2025 qualifiers

Guro Bergsvand made her international debut in 2021.

The second round of dates sees countries play on Friday 12 July and Tuesday 16 July.

Sunday 14 July – UEFA EURO 2024 final

The UEFA EURO 2024 final will be held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, kick-off 8pm (UK time).

Monday 15 July - Copa America final

The Copa America final will actually take place on the Sunday in Miami, but the time difference means that it will kick-off at 1am on Monday morning in the UK.

Wednesday 24 July – MFT v Kashimi Antlers

Albion head to Japan in July.

The first game of our trip to Tokyo. We will face Kashimi Antlers at the National Stadium, kick-off 11am (UK time). They are currently third in Japan’s Meiji Yasuda J.1 League and have won the domestic title on eight occasions.

They are managed by Serbian coach Ranko Popovic, who took over in December 2023.

Sunday 28 July – MFT v Tokyo Verdy

We then play Tokyo Verdy - kick-off 10.30am (UK time) - who won promotion back to the J.1 League last season under the management of Jofuku Hiroshi. This match will also take place at the National Stadium.

Saturday 17 August – New Premier League season starts

Albion will have a new head coach in the technical area for the 2024/25 season, following the departure of Roberto De Zerbi.

Midweek of 27/28 August 2024 - Carabao Cup second round

The stage of the competition when Albion enter.

Friday 30 August – Premier League transfer window closes

All transfer dealings must be completed by the 11pm deadline for our men’s first team.

Friday 13 September – WSL window closes

All domestic ins and outs for our women’s team must be completed by 11pm, while international transfers must be concluded by midnight.

Saturday 21 September – WSL season starts

Our women’s team will look to build on their ninth-place finish in the WSL.

Wednesday January 1 - 2025

Winter transfer window opens. 

Saturday 11 January 2025 - FA Cup third round

This is the stage of the competition where Albion get involved. 

Monday 3 February 2025 at 11pm
