Lewis Dunk named in England's pre-EURO 2024 squad

The Albion defender has won five caps for his country.

Lewis Dunk made his sixth appearance for England against Bosnia earlier this month.

Lewis Dunk has been named in the England squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Bosnia & Herzegovina and Iceland, ahead of this summer’s EURO 2024 tournament.

The 32-year-old will be aiming to add to his haul of five caps, as well as secure his place in the main squad for the Euros that are taking place in Germany.

Pascal Gross and Deniz Undav have had their places confirmed in the Germany squad for the summer, while Bart Verbruggen has been called up by the Netherlands.

The Scotland squad will be announced on Wednesday with Billy Gilmour aiming to be included, while Jakub Moder could be named in the Poland party for the tournament.

England’s confirmed fixtures for the summer are as follows:

  • Bosnia & Herzegovina (friendly) – St James’ Park, Newcastle – Monday 3 June, kick-off 7.45pm
  • Iceland (friendly) – Wembley Stadium, London – Friday 7 June, kick-off 7.45pm
  • Serbia (UEFA EURO 2024 group stage match) – VELTINS-Arena, Gelsenkirchen – Sunday 16 June, kick-off 8pm
  • Denmark (UEFA EURO 2024 group stage match) – Deutsche Bank Park, Frankfurt – Thursday 20 June, kick-off 5pm
  • Slovenia (UEFA EURO 2024 group stage match) – RheinEnergieStadion, Cologne – Tuesday 25 June, kick-off 8pm
