Albion players head off on international duty

Twelve players will represent their country during the international break.

Guro Bergsvand and Elisabeth Terland head off to represent Norway this international break.

Norway - Guro Bergsvand and Elisabeth Terland 

Maria Thorisdottir will miss this international break as our centre-back recovers from a foot injury, but Guro and Elisabeth will be wearing the Norwegian badge at the start of their European Championship qualifiers. 

Norway will host Finland in their first clash, before travelling to face the Netherlands in Breda. 

  • Friday 5: Finland (Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo)
  • Tuesday 9: Netherlands (Rat Verlegh Stadion, Breda)

Catalonia - Vicky Losada

Vicky has been called up to represent the Catalonia national team for the first time in eight years. The Albion captain has previously won two caps in 2014 and 2016.

Catalonia will face Paraguay in a friendly this Sunday.

  • Sunday 7: Paraguay (Nou Estadi Municipal de Palamos, Palamos)

Sweden - Emma Kullberg and Julia Zigiotti

Our duo have once again been called up as Sweden start their European Championship qualifying campaign.

They will face Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses at Wembley on Friday before hosting France next week in Gothenburg.

  • Friday 5: England (Wembley, London)
  • Tuesday 9: France (Gamla Ullevi, Göteborg)

Colombia - Jorelyn Carabali

The defender will represent Colombia in two friendlies. They start with a clash against Mexico before facing Guatemala in New Jersey.

  • Saturday 6: Mexico (Inter & Co Stadium, Orlando)
  • Tuesday 9: Guatemala (Hinchliffe Stadium, New Jersey)

South Korea - Geummin Lee

Lee will represent South Korea in two friendlies against Phillippines. 

  • Friday 5: Phillippines (Icheon City Stadium, South Korea)
  • Monday 8: Phillippines (Icheon City Stadium, South Korea)

England U23 - Poppy Pattinson, Maisie Symonds and Katie Robinson 

Our Albion trio are with the young Lionessess as they start their European Championship qualifiers tonight.

  • Thursday 4: Sweden (New Bucks Head, Telford)

Poppy Pattinson, Katie Robinson and Maisie Symonds will be representing the young Lionesses this international break.

Greece - Vetariki Sarri

Vea has again been called up to wear the Greek shirt during the international break as the squad start their European Championship qualifiers. 

The team will host the Faroe Islands before travelling to Andorra.

  • Friday 5: Faroe Islands (Theodoros Vardinogiannis, Heraklion)
  • Tuesday 9: Andorra (Estadi Nacional, Andorra la Vella)

Veatriki Sarri will represent Greece in a run of European Championship qualifiers.

Portugal - Tatiana Pinto

Tatiana has been called up for Portugal's European Championship qualifiers against Bosnia & Herzegovina and Malta.

  • Tuesday 9: Malta (Centenary Stadium, Ta' Qali)
