Club and Foundation up for six Football Business Awards

Paul Barber was named CEO of the year at the Football Business Awards 2023.

Brighton & Hove Albion and the BHAFC Foundation have been shortlisted for a number of awards for the Football Business Awards 2024.

The club have been nominated for four awards: Innovation Award; Sustainability Award; Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award - Premier League and Best Digital / Social Media Team.

Meanwhile, the Foundation have been shortlisted for two: Best Football Community Scheme - Premier League and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme (for our partnership with American Express).

We enjoyed success at last year’s awards, winning the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award, picking up silver in the Sustainability Award, while Paul Barber was named Chief Executive of the Season.

Albion won the equality, diversity and inclusion accolade at the Football Business Awards 2023.

Innovation Award

This award recognises the change-makers; those who disrupt and challenge; those who invent and create. This award recognises innovation which stays true to the spirit and traditions of the game but nevertheless helps take football into the future.

Sustainability Award

This award recognises organisations in the football industry which are placing sustainability at the heart of their objectives and engagement. Entries will be considered from clubs, leagues, associations and any other relevant organisations.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award

This award has been created to recognise organisations which are placing diversity at the heart of their objectives and engagement. Entries will be considered from organisations of any size and type.

Best Digital / Social Media Team

This award is for a team which has shown true excellence in the digital marketing and social media. Entrants might be from within a club or from a league or association.

Best Football Community Scheme (Premier League)

This award is open to club community schemes and organisations in the community which work with clubs. The judges will be looking for clear commitment to the local community, its people and business. Innovative approaches and measurable outcomes should be presented within the entry.

Best Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme

This award is open to clubs, associations, companies, brands and organisations involved in football who can demonstrate the positive impact their CSR activities have had on the environment, fans, employees, communities and other stakeholders.
