Pascal Gross features on the front of Thursday night's programme.

To commemorate our debut season of European football, we will again be producing an 84-page souvenir matchday programme for the visit of Roma on Thursday night.

Our latest Europa League edition is jam-packed with exclusive features and includes another stunning, specially commissioned poster – this time of our leading Euro scorer Joao Pedro – from Brighton-based illustrator Jamie Eke.

Following last week’s disappointing result in Rome, Pascal Gross and Joel Veltman talk us through a difficult night, while Albion kitman Alex ‘Buzz’ Burrows takes us behind the scenes at the game with his very own diary.

Joao Pedro is Albion's top scorer in the Europa League this season, with six goals.

The Athletic’s Serie A correspondent and Roma fan, James Horncastle, gives us the lowdown on ‘I Giallorossi’ while we also take an extensive look at the club’s European history and their associations with the English game.

Former Seagulls great Mark Lawrenson recalls his European Cup Final win against Roma, for Liverpool, in 1984, while a player on the opposite side that night, Mark Strukelj, reveals a fascinating connection with the Albion.

Prior to last week’s first-leg tie, we unearth one previous encounter with Roma and catch up with Gordon Smith and Gary Stevens, who both featured in the game which came just 24 hours after an encounter with Crystal Palace!

For all this and much more, make sure to pick up your copy of the matchday programme, priced £5, at the stadium on Thursday or purchase online.
