Erhabor commits future to the Albion after signing first professional contract.

Albion youngster Comfort Erhabor is ready to push on after signing her first professional contract with the club.

The 19-year-old joined Albion from West Ham United in March 2023 and has gone on to make 15 appearances for the under-19s since her arrival.

She said, "It still feels surreal. I've worked so hard towards signing a professional contract but to be given the opportunity by the club feels like a great honour.

"The hard work continues, I'm just going to keep improving every day and we'll see where that takes me."

Since she joined Sinead Hogan-Belcher's under-19 squad Comfort has established herself as a regular starter. She expressed her gratitude to the academy staff for helping her develop as a player and person.

"The under-19 staff have been the biggest part in my development since I joined the club,” she added. "I've improved so much over the past couple of months, and to have their support and to learn from their experiences has just been really valuable."

The youngster has been in and around Melissa Phillips's first team since summer and travelled to Seville for pre-season camp.

She added, "I've really enjoyed it, especially pre-season camp because that made me realise that I really want to do this as my profession - the way the team and the staff welcomed me as one of their own felt really good."
