Roberto De Zerbi felt Albion did enough to take all three points against Wolves.
Albion are up to seventh in the Premier League after a goalless draw which stretched our unbeaten league run at the Amex to nine matches. But despite hitting the post through Facundo Buonanotte and Wolves defender Max Kilman striking the upright the hosts couldn’t find a way through.
“I think we played well enough to win the game, we created the right chances to score,” said De Zerbi. “In the first half we had two or three situations and conceded one shot from 25 metres.

“We controlled the second half but lost two balls and conceded chances on the counter attack but after that we played well. It wasn’t the best game in my time, but we created the conditions to win the game. We made some mistakes in the crucial part of the pitch and because of this we didn’t win.”
De Zerbi said he was proud that Albion are seventh despite the absence of Kaoru Mitoma, Simon Adingra, Ansu Fati, Igor, Joel Veltman and Julio Enciso.
“We are seventh in the table and if you consider how many [injury] problems we have had in the first part of the season we have to be proud because we are playing better.
“Wolverhampton are a good team with good players, especially in attack with qualities that can put all teams in difficult situations. They have won the same number of games as us.”
