Katie Robinson wants to use her experience to help guide her teammates in the Albion dressing room.
Since returning from her World Cup experience with England, Robinson has played more of a leadership role within Melissa Phillips’s squad.
“Hopefully I can have that [leadership] standing in the team. As a player there’s still a lot I have to develop. I am looking forward to growing as a player as I get older,” she said.
“My personal goals for this season are to contribute to the team with goals and assists.”
The England international is looking forward to Sunday’s clash with Tottenham at The Amex.
“They are going to be a tough side [to play against] as they have had a really good start to the season,” Katie said about Robert Vilahamn’s side.
“However, having played them in pre-season, we now know what to expect and are prepared to perform.”
As well as using her own experiences to help her team-mates, Katie says she has also been learning from some of the experienced players brought into the squad during pre-season.

“We’ve brought in some phenomenal players in the summer. I am learning from them and as a group we are gelling together and putting that into our performances,” she added.
Last season saw Robinson opened her account with a goal against Reading at The Amex and she’s aiming to do the same again this weekend.
“That goal was a real starting point for me,” she said. “I hope I can add my name to the scoresheet again this Sunday.”
