Madison Haley believes Albion are building something ‘really special’ after joining the club from Sydney FC.

The 24-year-old Texan said she had a ‘good feeling’ after talking to head coach Melissa Phillips.

Haley became the third new signing of the summer earlier this week along with Champions League winners Vicky Losada and Pauline Bremer.

“From my conversations with Mel I just had a really good feeling and vibe talking to her,” said Haley.

“She really pitched the project here. I think she and the club are out to build something really special and we’re bringing in quite a few new faces and looking to build a strong culture and identity. I’m really exciting to be part of that and hopefully I can help shape things going forward.

“I’ve been lucky to be part of different organisations and clubs where culture has really been at the forefront of everything, and I think that's definitely Mel’s philosophy.

“I think I can contribute because I've been in environments like that before. I know how to build a successful culture but also just want to help the team in any way possible.

“This club feels really ambitious and the staff players are going for it - I think we're in for an exciting time.”

Albion kick off the new WSL campaign on 1 October against Everton before facing West Ham United in their opening home match a week later. To purchase your season ticket, click here.
