Jens Scheuer is looking forward to his first taste of the FA Cup and to watching his Albion players put their efforts on the training pitch into practice.
Albion have been working hard in preparation for Sunday’s fifth round tie at third-tier West Bromwich Albion.
They had a training session after last Sunday’s WSL fixture against Arsenal was called off and have stepped up their preparations this week as Scheuer seeks his first win as head coach.
“We have had a good week, working on how I want us to play so we can use our style and strengths,” said Scheuer. “Training has been brilliant, and we are taking steps in the right direction. I expect us to show what we have practiced on Sunday.”

West Brom play in the National League North Division, and currently lie tenth out of 12 teams with two wins from nine league games, although they did beat Liverpool Feds from the same division 3-2 to reach this stage of the competition for the second year running.
Scheuer added, “It’s been difficult to get a lot of footage of West Brom, but our analysts have done a good job so we will be well prepared.
“Every game is difficult. West Brom will be motivated, and I have a lot of respect for them but I want us to show our strengths in the game and not worry too much about the opponent. The FA Cup is a very important tournament and gives us the opportunity to play more games. We’re looking forward to the match.”
