Fans will hold a minute's applause before our game against Arsenal to remember Pele.

The Premier League is deeply saddened by the passing of footballing great Pele, an extraordinarily gifted player who transcended the sport.

In tribute to Pele, Albion and other Premier League clubs will hold a minute’s applause prior to kick-off in this weekend's match round including our fixture against Arsenal at the Amex.

Players and match officials will wear black armbands.

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi added his tribute when he spoke to the media ahead of Saturday's game.

He said, "I am really sorry. I didn’t know him as a player, but my father gave me the passion for football and he told me a lot of times about Pele and his era. Pele and Maradona were the best players of all time, it’s very sad news."
