Pascal Gross scored late on to secure Albion a well deserved three points at Wolves.

Pascal Gross says one of the biggest positives from Saturday’s win over Wolves is knowing that the team can play even better.

The German midfielder scored a late winner at Molineux as Albion secured back-to-back victories.

It also marked consecutive games that Pascal has played at right-back, as he gets used to working under his new head coach, Roberto De Zerbi.

Gross said, “He [Roberto] gives us lots of solutions and ideas. We improve every day, we are getting better and better.

“We don't have a lot of time to train, we have another midweek game and then another game on Sunday. Then we have a break and I think we can improve a lot [in that time]. We won the game against Wolves but I think a very positive thing is we know we can do better.”

Pascal admits that he takes his work home with him.

Lallana aiming for more goals!

“I love football, I love different ideas. I go home and think a lot about my position, how we can win the game, how to defend, what can face me, and what can happen on the pitch.

“I try to go through it on my mind and that helps me to feel prepared for the game.

“My position has been right-back against the ball but you have to interpret it. Where we are on the pitch, are we in a deep build-up? Are we attacking?

“It changes more in the game but in the end I play right-back. I defend as a right-back, that is where I always start from.”
