Matchday guide: Albion v Newcastle

For fans attending Albion’s Premier League home opener this Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

With very hot weather forecast we are advising all fans to stay hydrated, apply suncream and wear a hat. Clear plastic water bottles (up to 500ml) with caps off will be allowed on entry. Water fountains are on all concourses.

If you are sitting in the East Stand Lower please be aware that you will be in direct sunlight for most of the game.

A reminder not to bring bags larger than A4 (297mm x 210mm) to the stadium as they are not allowed on entry through the turnstiles.

TRAVEL UPDATE

Our matchday travel scheme is in operation this Saturday. Home and away fans can travel for free on buses and trains within the travel zone on production of their digital match ticket.

Supporters travelling by rail, please check Southern Rail’s website prior to your journey.

Dick’s Bar is open for home and away supporters and match tickets are required for access. Fans must be over 18 to enter this bar.

In the 1901 Club lounges, Dick’s Bar and concourses, the TV screens will be showing BT Sport Aston Villa v Everton pre-match and Sky Sports Brentford v Manchester United post-match.

FANZONE

DISCOBUG will be joining us in the fanzone for some pre-match tunes and an ice cream van will help keep you cool.

Do-it-yourself face paints will be handed out in the family stand to our junior supporters.

Get your matchday selfie in the photobooth located in the East Lower Stand.

East Stand fans – please expect a loud atmosphere prior to kick-off.

TICKETING

This match is sold out and the ticket exchange for season ticket holders is open.

Please don’t forget to charge your phone before you leave for the Amex and download your tickets to your phone's wallet.

If your digital ticket is on an Apple device, please download the latest software update.

Have your pass ready before you get to the turnstiles. 

The tickets appear at the bottom of the Apple Wallet or on the Passes tab of Google Pay. You will be prompted to do this when you open Google Pay. If your phone does not have NFC please tap the 'Show Code' option.
