Albion have linked up with the Futuerstars charity in Africa by donating playing kit to children in two cities in Ghana.

Around 50 children from their projects in Tema and the capital Accra wore our distinctive yellow away shirt from the 2020-21 Premier League campaign on a trip to the national stadium in Accra to watch a game between Borussia Dortmund Legends and African Stars.

Futurestars director Simon Milton, the former Ipswich Town player, said, “The impact of distributing the donated kit from Brighton to the children and coaches within our projects is amazing.

“We use the match kits for our games programme at all ages and the training kit supports our development centres in Tema and the Street to School Programme in Accra.

“We also use the kit for our girls’ football and netball teams in Accra and Tema. They had an incredible time at the game and were pleased to finally see all these legends they had watched on TV in real life.”
