Graham Potter has no doubt that his players have the capability to recover from a rare setback when they face Burnley today.
Albion lost for only the fifth time this season against Manchester United on Tuesday, ending a club record run of seven undefeated Premier League games.
But the head coach does not think confidence will have been affected and is looking forward to a positive response against Sean Dyche’s team in their first Amex fixture for a month.
“We’ve had to deal with the result, analyse the performance and then move forward and I think that consistency which we’ve had in terms of our results this season helps us do that,” he said.

“Obviously we’re disappointed the run ended against [Manchester] United, but as much as we can say 'we can do a little bit better', the other night Cristiano Ronaldo's goal was a higher level than we play at and that sometimes is the reality of football at this level.
“The margins and little moments have to go your way and you have to have a little bit of luck as well.”
Burnley are bottom of the table but they haven’t lost at the Amex since 2013 and Potter is very aware of their threats.
“They have had some good performances themselves. Against Liverpool last week they were very competitive and against Manchester United they drew and were very competitive, so we have to be good, it is as simple as that. We have to get rid of disappointment from the other night and face a new challenge today.”
