Maya Le Tissier, Katie Robinson, Fran Stenson and Ellie Brazil have been called up to the England Under-23 squad.

Four Albion players have been selected for an England women’s under-23 training camp later this month.

Defender Maya Le Tissier, midfielders Ellie Brazil and Katie Robinson and goalkeeper Fran Stenson, who is on loan from Arsenal, have been selected for a week-long training camp which starts on 19 October and includes a fixture against Belgium in Brussels on 25 October.

In addition, midfielder Rinsola Babajide has been placed on standby.

Head coach Hope Powell, a former England manager, said, “We’re delighted for all four players who have been selected. This is the next step in their journey towards being a full international and I’m sure they will relish the experience. We wish them all the best.”

Maisie Symonds is in the England under-19 squad for a tournament in Limerick when Republic of Ireland, Switzerland and Northern Ireland are the opposition. Fellow midfielder Libby Bance is on standby.
