Graham Potter's side are unbeaten in their last three home matches.

With Albion able to turn their attentions to next season now Premier League status is secured, Graham Potter says he isn't 'desperate' for the transfer window to open.

“One thing I would say is that I am happy with this group. It is not like I can sit here and say this group is at its maximum and they can't get better. They can and that is what is exciting for us,” said Potter.

“I am not desperate [for the transfer window to open] but the job of a football club when it does to look and see ways to improve and strengthen the group. We will be no different at that time.”

Potter has been impressed with how Albion have coped in the tough moments, and says their ability to deal with pressure is among the reasons why they have been able to secure their Premier League status with three games to go.

Potter's West Ham press conference

“We’ve got a good honest group who have stuck together. We’ve had moments where we’ve struggled, but it’s been dealt with in a calm, professional and honest way. You’re not going to go through a season where everything is perfect and not have setbacks.

“It’s how you deal with them and we’ve always done that. That means you can keep your points tally ticking over. We’ve improved our performances and done a lot well but we haven’t been able to turn them into the results and we know how important that is.

“But credit to the players, they have developed as a team and as individuals. What we need to do is improve the points tally, and that’s where the work is.”
