Ryan Longman benefitted from some haphazard Charlton Athletic defending as he scored twice in a game for the first time in his professional career.
Having already netted earlier in the 2-2 draw, the 20-year-old pounced on a poor back pass and was able to poke home into an empty net.
The goals were the Albion academy graduate’s first in 16 matches, taking him to eight for the campaign.
“For the first goal I was fouled but I tried to stay on my feet. The referee said afterwards that if I gone to ground he would have given a penalty, but because I carried on I managed to get a shot away and tucked into the corner quite nicely.

“The second goal was a bit crazy. They made a mistake and it’s probably the easiest goal I am going to score in my career!
“It was great to get on the scoresheet again and help the team. It’s been a while since I scored but I have been playing well and have got a lot of minutes under my belt, which has been a great experience.
“We’ve had Tuesday-Saturday fixtures for the last six weeks so it’s been a heavy schedule, but I have enjoyed it.”
A point against a Charlton side was a welcome return for the Dons, who currently sit second from bottom in a congested League One table.
Come on! That'll do nicely Ryan, but how about another?! @ProSportsImages #AFCW pic.twitter.com/QCglT5bMuz

Longman wants to be the man to help propel his team out of their current predicament, with a real six-pointer coming up on Saturday against fellow strugglers Northampton Town.
“We are at the wrong end of the table and we’ve got 11 games left to put that right. We’ve drawn too many times so we need to change that. It’s tight at the bottom but with one win we are out of the relegation zone.
“We’re the only team at the moment who haven’t strung a winning run together and we haven’t won back-to-back league games all season. Doing that would be massive for us.
“The Northampton game is very important. A win takes us above them and after the result against Charlton that would be really good.”
