With the new Premier League fixtures due to be announced on Thursday, Brighton & Hove Albion fans can begin to look forward to another season in the biggest league in the world.

The staggering statistics that emanated from the top flight in 2018/19 tell the tale of another remarkable season for the club, and the Premier League as a whole.

Albion received a total of £105.7m for finishing 17th in the table, of which £15.5m came from live appearances on Sky Sports or BT Sport.

Despite seven home games live on TV, average attendance of home fans at the Amex was 27,928 (13th in PL), while the average number of away fans rose from 2133 to 2497.

Meanwhile, the average cost of a match ticket at the Amex was £28, £3 less than the average cost across the Premier League.

Meanwhile, it was also another bumper season in general for the Premier League, and its broadcast partners:

10.2 per cent: Increase in average live TV audiences in UK.

1072: Record number of goals in the season.

16: Number of games drawing an audience of over 2 million, highest since 2013/14.

7: Number of seasons in a row that Premier League stadiums have been over 95 per cent full.

70 per cent: Amount of the UK population who watched the Premier League on Sky, BT Sport or the BBC.

50m: Number of minutes spent watching the inaugural ePremier League final online.
