Brighton & Hove Albion duo Chloe Peplow and Marie Hourihan will both leave the club when their contracts expire on 30th June after opting not to take up the option of new deals.
Peplow arrived at the club from Birmingham City at the start of 2018 and made 25 appearances for the Seagulls, as well as representing England at the U20 Women’s World Cup Finals last summer.
Hourihan also arrived on the south coast at the start of last year, initially on loan until the end of the 2018/19 campaign from Manchester City. That move became permanent at the start of last season when the Republic of Ireland international signed a one-year deal.
Manager Hope Powell said, “At the end of the season, there are always difficult decisions to be made.
“Chloe and Marie have both been brilliant players for the club and played a key role in helping the club to maintain our FA WSL status last year.
“But following discussions with the first-team coaching staff, it was decided that it would be best for them to pursue their careers elsewhere.
“On behalf of everyone at Brighton & Hove Albion, I would like to thank them both for their service to the club and wish them all the very best for the future.”
