Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s will continue their defence of the Sussex Senior Cup against Eastbourne Town at The Saffrons on Tuesday 19th February, kick-off 7.45pm.
The Seagulls have progressed to the quarter-final stage by beating Lewes 1-0 at The Dripping Pan in the second round, before sealing an emphatic 4-0 win over Hastings United at The Pilot Field to set up their meeting with Eastbourne Town.
Albion’s quarter-final opponents have already played three matches in the competition — beating Sidlesham, Whitehawk and Worthing to reach the least eight.
Simon Rusk’s team have won the trophy in each of the past two seasons, winning on both occasions against Crawley Town, who were knocked out this time around by Haywards Heath Town.
