Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s showed their character once more to come from behind and seal a 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers at the Amex Stadium this evening.

Okera Simmonds broke the deadlock for the visitors inside the opening three minutes, but Aaron Connolly stooped to head the Seagulls level in the second half.

With time running out, Ben Barclay rose highest to glance a header home in the 89th minute to seal maximum points for Simon Rusk’s hard-working team, as they moved into third position in the league table.

Kieran Cleeves was on hand to capture the action from behind the lens at the Amex.
