Percy Tau scored his first goal in Belgian league football on Sunday afternoon as Union St Gilloise recorded a 2-0 win at home to Westerlo in the Belgian second division.
The South African striker found the net eight minutes after the restart and was one of seven Brighton & Hove Albion faces who were in loan action over the course of the weekend.
Oliver Norwood and Sheffield United moved to the top of the Sky Bet Championship after a 1-0 win over Hull City at Brammal Lane, as David McGoldrick's strike 20 minutes from time was enough to give Chris Wilder’s side the victory over the Tigers.
In the same division, Tomer Hemed was a second-half substitute in a 1-1 draw for Queens Park Rangers against Derby County at Loftus Road, as Geoff Cameron cancelled out Jack Marriott’s first half opener in west London.
Meanwhile, Christian Walton’s Wigan Athletic were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline against Preston North End at Deepdale.
In Sky Bet League Two, Robert Sanchez and Forest Green Rovers continued their impressive unbeaten start to the league campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Northampton Town at the New Lawn – it’s now a run of 11 games without defeat for Mark Cooper’s men.
