Albion Draw Pagham In Sussex Senior Cup

By Kieran Cleeves • 14 February 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s have been drawn against Pagham in the Parafix Sussex Senior Cup semi-finals, with the match taking place on Tuesday 13th March at Culver Road, kick-off 7.15pm.

Simon Rusk’s team will be looking to reach the final at the Amex Stadium for a second season in a row, but must overcome Pagham next month - a side they beat en route to the final last season.

The Seagulls have already beaten East Preston, Haywards Heath Town and Whitehawk to secure their place in the final four, while Pagham have secured wins over Wick, Crowborough Athletic and Lewes.

Albion beat Pagham 5-2 at Nyetimber Lane in the competition last season, but the sides will face off on neutral territory this time around, as they look to secure their place in the final, which will be held at the Amex in May.

Last season’s beaten finalists, Crawley Town, come up against Saltdean United in the other semi-final, which will also be played at Culver Road.

Ticket information for Albion's game will follow in due course.
