Graham Potter says maintaining a high level of performance is the key to improving Albion's points tally in the second half of the season.
His side have earned plenty of praise for their displays this season, but that hasn't been reflected in Albion's points tally.
But there are still 19 games and 57 points to play for, starting against Fulham at the Amex tonight, and Albion will go into the second half of the season buoyed by a 1-0 win over Leeds in their last Premier League fixture.
“The league table is a piece of information that is clear, but we are only halfway through the season. So we have to learn from the first half of the season and improve, hopefully get a bit more luck and try to improve our position,” Potter said.

“We've got 50-odd points to play for. We have to focus on trying to win the next game and see if we can get some points quickly.”
The head coach is confident that if Albion can maintain their level of performance they will be rewarded with more points.
“You can play well but sometime you don't win. That is how the competition is, that is down to the ferocity of the opponent sometimes. You always need a bit of luck in football and in life, but we have maintained that the best way for us to win games and to pick up points is to play well.
“If you can't play well because the opposition don't allow you then you have got to fight to stay in the game and try to get something from it, but the aim should always be to play well.”
