Pascal Gross has started Albion's last three Premier League matches.

Pascal Gross is confident Albion have the quality to take something from the Liverpool game.

The reigning Premier League champions head to the Amex on Saturday knowing three points would put them top of the table.

However, the 29-year-old has faith in Albion’s ability to build on last Saturday's 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

Pascal Gross' assist for Solly March on Saturday was his 29th Premier League goal involvement - an Albion record.

“We always believe in ourselves, even against the top teams there is always a chance. We have already had wins against some good teams.

“We have to play our game, but we need a good day as a team and a little bit of luck. The margins are small in this league. They are usually close games so you need a bit of quality and that's how you can win.

“We are a good team as well and I always believe we can win and that's the case for Saturday.”

Fellow German Jurgen Klopp has been shortlisted for the FIFA Manager of the Year award, and Gross is not surprised given his achievements with the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp has been 'unbelievable' for Liverpool, according to Pascal Gross.

“I know him from Germany where what he achieved with Mainz and Dortmund was also unbelievable. There's no question whether or not he's a world class manager. Liverpool were really unlucky not to win the title the year before last, with Manchester City being only two points better. They both deserved the title from my point of view.

“I am really happy that he got two unbelievable trophies [the Premier League and Champions League], because he deserves it and the club deserves it, the way they played over the past couple of years is outstanding.”

Gross believes Albion are beginning to turn strong performances into results.

“You can see we play good football, we are always well prepared and we know what we have to do. We always have a game plan. We are not far from winning more regularly.

“This season already we have had some really good performances, but we haven't got the results that we deserve so that’s the next step we have to take.”
