Jakub Moder and Percy Tau were on the scoresheet for their countries as several Albion players took part in the first round of November internationals this week.

Moder scored moments after coming on as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Ukraine in a friendly, while on Friday Tau scored a penalty as South Africa won 2-0 against Sao Tome as qualifying for the African Cup of Nations got underway.

Poland face two Nations Cup ties against Italy on Sunday and Netherlands next Wednesday when he could come up against Albion defender Joel Veltman, who played in central defence earlier this week alongside Manchester City's Nathan Ake in a friendly against Spain in Amsterdam which finished 1-1.

Jayson Molumby made his fourth senior appearance as a second-half substitute in Ireland's 3-0 defeat against England in Thursday’s Wembley friendly, with defender Shane Duffy, who is on loan at Celtic, in from the start.

Aaron Connolly missed out because of what boss Stephen Kenny described as a 'minor hamstring injury' and won't be involved in the Nations League ties against Wales in Cardiff on Sunday and Bulgaria (Wednesday) in Dublin.

At under-21 level, Albion's Andi Zeqiri couldn't add to his incredible tally of nine goals in six European Championship qualifiers in Switzerland’s 2-1 win over Azerbaijan.

Tariq Lamptey played the full 90 minutes on Friday for England under-21s as they defeated Andorra 3-1 at Molineux to extend their unbeaten record in Euro qualifiers to nine years. They are back at Wolves to play Albania in their final game on Tuesday, having already qualified for the finals.
