Albion celebrate after Teddy Jenks (10) scored from the spot against Arsenal.

Albion play their third match of the season in Premier League 2 tonight when they take on Chelsea at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, kick off 7pm.

The under-23s will be looking for their first win of the season following draws against Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

After a 1-1 draw with Spurs a fortnight ago, Albion shared four goals with the Gunners last Friday when Teddy Jenks (penalty) and Danny Cashman scored in a 2-2 draw.

There will be a live stream of tonight's game available from 7pm on MyAlbion TV.

Last Time Out …

Because of first-team call-ups only five of the players who faced Arsenal were in action on Tuesday when an under-21 team lost 2-0 to AFC Wimbledon in a Group G match in the EFL Trophy. Ulrick Eneme Ella, the 19-year-old French striker who completed his move to Albion earlier in the day, made his debut with 25 minutes to go.

Two points from two games means Albion go into the contest in eighth place in the Premier League 2 table.

Chelsea are top with two wins from two. They opened with a 4-1 victory at Southampton before beating West Ham United 1-0.

View from the Head Coach...

Simon Rusk: “It’s a quick turnaround from Tuesday and a really busy time in terms of fixtures but there is also a lot to learn. What we have learned in the last few matches is our game management needs to be a little bit smarter.

“We have to learn from key moments in the game like last Friday where we get ourselves in front but then let Arsenal in a little bit too cheaply. Chelsea will be another difficult game but we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
