Walsh nominated for Player of the Month award

Vote for Albion keeper after two shut-outs in September.

Megan Walsh kept consecutive clean sheets in the Albion's opening two WSL fixtures.

After keeping clean sheets in Albion’s first two games of the season, goalkeeper Megan Walsh has been nominated for the Barclays FA Women’s Super League player of the month award.

Walsh had shut-outs in the 2-0 opening-day win over Birmingham City and the goalless draw against Manchester City.

The full list of nominations are:

Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal)

Jill Roord (Arsenal)

Megan Walsh (Brighton & Hove Albion)

The award will be decided by a fans’ vote and you can vote for Megan here.

Voting closes at 6pm on Friday.
