My Albion memories: Tim Ovard

We asked for your Albion favourites and today's it's the turn of Tim Ovard.

What was your first Albion game and what do you remember about it?

25th November 1987 at home to Southend United and the score was 3-2 to Brighton. My first memory was standing in The North Stand at the Goldstone sitting on my grandad’s shoulders.

Who is your Albion idol?

Kerry Mayo, as we were born in the same town of Haywards Heath.

What is your favourite Albion game?

The 1-1 draw at Hereford in 1997 when we stayed in the Football League. It made what we have now possible.

What has been your favourite season watching Albion?

When we won our promotion to the Premier League in 2016/17. We were truly living the dream.

What have been your favourite home and away shirts?

Favourite home shirt is the 1987 shirt as it's the shirt from my first season watching the Seagulls and my favourite away shirt is the one we’re wearing this season.

John Keeley; Gary Stevens, Lewis Dunk, Shane Duffy, Kerry Mayo; Anthony Knockaert, Paul Rodgers, Michael Robinson, Davy Propper; Glenn Murray and Bobby Zamora.
