The Wales international scored a brace in a memorable 3-0 victory over Birmingham, which was the side’s first FA Women’s Super League victory of the season.

Green was named player of the match and fired in a clinical penalty before scoring her second goal with a header after the break.

She has been in impressive goalscoring form so far this campaign, and has found the net five times in nine appearances across all competitions. This included another two goals in a 3-0 victory away at Charlton Athletic and a penalty in a 2-1 defeat at home to Bristol City.

The 31-year-old faces competition from Arsenal’s Vivianne Miedema and Manchester United’s Leah Galton. The full shortlist is below.
