Women's pre-match brief: Albion v Bristol City

Albion are in Continental League Cup action against Bristol City today at The People’s Pension Stadium, kick-off 2pm.

Albion take on Bristol City in the Continental League Cup

This is the second round of Group B matches, and Hope Powell’s side will look to build on the 3-0 success over Charlton Athletic last time out.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the day.

Pay on the day tickets

Tickets are available from the ticket office at the stadium, with adult entry priced at £6 and over-65s/under-18s at just £3. Tickets bought on the day can only be paid for with cash only.

Please note that season ticket holders will need to buy a ticket for this fixture as it isn’t included as part of the ticket.

Travel information

Those looking to travel via car should note that there is a car park at the stadium, which is free, although spaces are very limited and only available on a first-come-first-served basis.

There are other free parking options available, such as the William Reed car park which is just a few minutes’ walk from the stadium on Brighton Road. These are signposted as you approach the stadium.

Food and drink

Inside the stadium there are two catering kiosks selling snacks, including burgers and hot dogs along with hot and cold drinks.

Please note food and beverages can only be bought via cash only.

Fans can also access the Redz Bar, located behind the South Stand on the outside of the stadium.

Opening times

The turnstiles will open at 1pm on Sunday.

The West Stand turnstiles will be open at the front of the stadium and supporters are able to access the south side of the West and East Stands, and the South Stand itself.

Redz Bar will open at 12pm.

Family activities

Head over to Devil’s Den in the south east corner of the stadium for some fun family activities.

In the den this week we have free giant jenga, connect four and use of Xboxs.

All of the activities are free of charge.


Located next to the West Stand turnstile, we will have a merchandise stand where you can buy a range of selected Albion merchandise.

Sophie Harris is the cover star for this Sunday’s matchday magazine, with the goalkeeper talking about the competition for places in the team.

Dani Bowman also reflects on last weekend’s match against West Ham United. There will also be a pull-out poster, featuring a member of the Albion women’s first-team squad!
