Neal Maupay wheels away to celebrate a goal at the Amex.

Neal Maupay, Maty Ryan and Steven Alzate make up the three-man shortlist for Albion’s second month of the campaign — let’s see exactly why they’ve been nominated…

 Neal Maupay vs Burnley:

After opening his Albion account during the 3-0 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road in August, the French striker grabbed his first goal at the Amex in style, stylishly volleying in a cross from the right-hand side to give the Seagulls the lead against the Clarets.

Maty Ryan vs Chelsea:

The Australian keeper produced a string of fine stops in west London during the side's final game of the month, saving well from Ross Barkley in the first half and making some equally important saves after the restart. It saw him pick up the fans' man-of-the-match award at Stamford Bridge, despite Graham Potter's men losing the contest 2-0.

Dunk & Alzate's Magpies Reaction

 Steven Alzate vs Newcastle United:

The 21-year-old made his Premier League debut for the televised clash on Tyneside, and certainly caught the eye with an impressive performance. The midfielder had the ball in the net during the first period as he headed home, but the flag was up for offside. Despite dominating the contest for large spells, Potter's men had to settle for a point in a 0-0 draw in the north east.
