U21 Highlights: AFC Wimbledon 0 Albion 2

Simon Rusk’s side turn their attention back to the Leasing.com Trophy for a match against League One side Southend United at Roots Hall.

It’s Albion’s second match of the group stages after Rusk’s side secured a 2-0 win away at AFC Wimbledon last month, thanks to Nikola Tzanev’s own goal and Bojan Radulovic’s strike.

Southend were beaten 2-0 by Leyton Orient in their opening match of the competition, and have endured a difficult start to their league campaign with just one win in their opening ten games.

Tickets for the match will be available to buy on the gate, priced at £8 for adults, £6 for concessions (seniors, students, and disabled) and £1 for under-16s.

Saturday 5th October: Albion v Tottenham Hotspur, kick-off 12.30pm

Extended highlights: Chelsea 2 Albion 0

Albion host Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side at the Amex in the lunchtime Premier League kick-off this weekend, looking to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

Spurs head into the game after recording a narrow 2-1 win over Southampton, which lifted them up to fifth in the table with 11 points from seven games.

Graham Potter’s side currently lie 16th in the table with six points from their opening seven games, and will be looking for their first win since the opening day of the season.
