The season’s worth of home programmes from Brighton & Hove Albion’s 2006/07 campaign have been added to the Programme Archive - a season which saw a number of youngsters progress into the first-team setup.

With Dean Wilkins at the helm, the Albion boss gave chances to numerous players he worked alongside in the club’s youth ranks - such as Jake Robinson, Joel Lynch and Dean Cox.

The league season got off to a terrific start against Rotherham United at Millmoor, with Alex Revell scoring the winner on his debut, but the Seagulls finished the season in 18th position after a campaign of ups and downs.

Joining the 23 league programmes were two Johnstone’s Paint Trophy matches, a Carling Cup tie against Boston United and two FA Cup fixtures - one of which being an emphatic 8-0 win over Northwich Victoria.

In those two FA Cup ties - which also included a 3-0 win over Stafford Rangers - no less than nine goals were scored by Albion youth products, as Robinson, Cox, Joe Gatting, Sam Rents and Dean Hammond all found the back of the net.

Off the pitch, Albion continued their fight for planning permission for their new stadium at Falmer, and the matchday programme contained superb coverage of the proceedings.
