Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-23s will host Everton in the Premier League Cup Round of 16, after the draw was made earlier this morning.
Simon Rusk’s men finished second in Group H behind Exeter City, ensuring they advanced to the knockout stages of the competition with the Grecians at the expense of Hull City and Sunderland.
The Seagulls recorded three victories, one draw and two defeats from their six group stage matches, and they will now host the Toffees in a one-off knockout tie with a place in the last eight of the competition up for grabs.
