A Brighton & Hove Albion under-21 side were narrowly beaten in their opening game of the Checkatrade Trophy group stage, as Luton Town claimed a 2-1 victory over the Seagulls.
Simon Rusk’s team found themselves 2-0 behind at Kenilworth Road, and despite Aaron Connolly’s 86th-minute header which halved the deficit, Albion had to settle for a narrow loss.
Club photographer Paul Hazlewood was on hand to capture the action through the lens, on a testing evening for Albion's young side against League One opposition.
