Albion have been nominated in five categories at the prestigious Women’s Football Awards, which take place in May.
The club has been shortlisted for the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award and the Community Impact Award.
In addition, Fran Kirby has been shortlisted for the Game Changer Award; managing director of women’s and girls’ football Zoe Johnson has been shortlisted for the Football Business Trailblazer Award; and main board director and head of people & culture Rose Read has been shortlisted for in the Women’s Football Champion category.
The recognition of the club’s and the individuals’ achievements follows public nominations from fans and professionals across football, making this recognition even more meaningful.
Now in its fourth year, the Women’s Football Awards is Europe’s biggest celebration of women’s football and honours the standout players, brands, businesses and grassroots initiatives that are driving the game forward.
This year’s awards ceremony will be hosted by BBC broadcaster Gabby Logan alongside former footballer and Sky Sports presenter Jamie Carragher on Thursday 7 May in London.
