It was another good weekend for Albion winger Amario Cozier-Duberry who scored and created a goal as Middlesbrough went top of the Championship.
They came in a 5-1 win over Bolton Wanderers, the club where Cozier-Dubbery had a successful loan last season.
Cozier-Duberry didnât celebrate his goal out of respect to a club where he was so popular with the fans.
âIt was a great feeling being back here. I feel like I got a good welcome back from the fans. I was definitely happy to get the goal and really happy with the win,â he said.
âWith every goal and every assist I try to contribute to the team. Onwards and upwards.â
Elsewhere in the Championship James Beadle saved an early penalty from Cardiff Cityâs Yousef Salech but Salech later scored the only goal of the game to bring Birmingham Cityâs five-match unbeaten run to an end.
In League One our trio on loan at Leicester City had mixed fortunes.
Harry Howell was a second-half substitute in last Tuesdayâs 4-0 win at Bromley but didnât figure on Saturday in the 2-1 defeat to Luton Town. Kamari Doyle started both games but Tommy Watson wasnât involved in either match.
Mark OâMahony played 69 minutes of Burton Albionâs 2-1 win over Leyton Orient on Saturday and Freddie Simmonds had 74 minutes for AFC Wimbledon in their midweek 3-0 home loss to Mansfield Town.
In League Two Josh Robertson came on for the last 20 minutes of Fleetwood Townâs 2-1 defeat to Exeter City. Charlie Tasker helped Rochdale to a 2-2 draw against Grimsby Town in midweek but came off during Saturdayâs 5-0 home hammering by Accrington Stanley.
In Europe, Brajan Gruda started RB Leipzigâs 4-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Bernabeu in the Champions League and their weekend 4-0 Bundesliga win over SV07 Elversberg.Â
Facundo Buonanotte came on in the second half to help Elche seal a 3-0 win over Raya Vallecano in La Liga while in the second tier in Spain Matias Orozco made a second-half appearance for CD Castellon in their 4-0 victory over Sporting Gijon.  Â
