Albion shines a light on education and development on day four of One Goal campaign

Brighton & Hove Albion continues its One Goal week of action with UNICEF UK by highlighting the right to education, a right that unlocks opportunity both on and off the pitch.
As part of One Goal, our new Child Rights Action Plan created in partnership with UNICEF, the club is championing a different children’s right each day in the lead-up to the full launch on 22 November. The action plan was shaped through UNICEF-led workshops and insight from young fans, academy players and Foundation participants.
Today’s focus is the Right to Education. Every child has the right to an education that develops their personality, talents and abilities, and teaches them about their own rights and the rights of others.

To illustrate this, we are releasing a brand-new video offering a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of academy player Brodie Felton. Filmed across lessons, training sessions and recovery periods, the video shows how Brodie balances his academic studies with his development as a footballer.
It demonstrates the holistic approach taken within our academy: supporting young players to thrive as students, athletes and individuals.
As part of the One Goal commitment, Brighton & Hove Albion will continue to prioritise high-quality education across the academy and maintain regular reviews of how young players are supported in their personal development.
