Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named CAF women's goalkeeper of the year for 2025.
The award comes after Nnadozie helped Nigeria win the Women's Africa Cup of Nations in July for the tenth time in their history - and the second time in her career.
The 24-year-old won the golden glove and was named best goalkeeper of the tournament after the Super Falcons' victory in Morocco, which led to her becoming the first African keeper to be recognised at the Ballon d'Or awards in September.
She finished fourth in the inaugural Women’s Yashin Trophy rankings and has since enjoyed a fantastic start to life as an Albion player after joining the club from Paris FC in June, keeping two clean sheets in nine appearances so far.
Since joining the club in the summer, Chiamaka has been nominated for Barclays WSL Save of the Month for October and November.
